I am Dayna Safferstein, a user experience expert with 13+ years in design, including 9 years focused on UX.
I have applied my intuitive design sensibilities to telecom, finance, and more startups than I can count on one hand. At Spectrum, I designed responsive buyflows, engineering the moments where curiosity turns into commitment and every unnecessary step costs someone's trust. In 2021 I joined Charles Schwab's DAFgiving360, the second-largest donor-advised fund in the world, with a simple goal: help more people give more. I design B2C experiences across web and native, and I lead design for the internal grant processing tools that turn a donor's intention into real money reaching real causes.
My background is graphic design and illustration, and I still specialize in brand and textile design. I've illustrated four published books. That foundation shapes how I work: I care about how something feels, not just whether it functions, and I think the best experiences need both.
I live in Brooklyn with my no-eyed English bulldog.
